Pet Blessings 2019-10-04T15:22:33+00:00

St. Francis of Assisi is the patron saint of animals, and his feast day is celebrated on Oct. 4. Annually, around the feast of St. Francis of Assisi, parishes and schools celebrate the feast day by having a pet blessing. Feel free to bring a photo of your pet if it is more convenient than bringing your pet. Be sure the furry, finned and feathered friends (and the shelled, slithering and spidery ones, too) are leashed or otherwise contained.

Below are some of the ones in the Diocese of Beaumont.
