Mission Statement

As Serra International is the vocation arm of the Church, our mission is to foster and affirm vocations to the ministerial priesthood and vowed religious life in the United States, and through this ministry to further our members’ common Catholic faith.

“Always to Go Forward and Never Turn Back”

The Serra Club of Port Arthur is one of the oldest Serra Clubs in the United States. It was chartered in 1946, with a membership of about 40.

Currently it has 14 members.

The Serra Club of Port Arthur meets on the first Monday of each month at 6:30pm.

Meetings are held at St. James Church, located at 3517 Gulfway Drive in Port Arthur, TX.

The initiation fee is $10.

Membership dues are $10 per month for non-spousal members, or $5 per month for spousal members.
