St. Anthony Cathedral Basilica School celebrates International Day

“Although we are diverse, we are united in the body of Christ,” said Bishop Curtis Guillory, SVD, celebrating Mass at St. Anthony Cathedral Basilica that was part of St. Anthony Cathedral Basilica School’s International Day celebration April 20.

After Mass, the celebration continued at the school. Dressed in clothes representing the countries of Mexico, Kenya, the United States of America, Vatican City State, Jamaica, Vietnam, Spain, Bulgaria, France and Israel, students gave presentations on the cultures and traditions of those countries. Students, staff and parents also sampled the different foods from those parts of the world.
