Full-time Staff Accountant – Catholic Pastoral Center

The Diocese of Beaumont is seeking highly motivated applicants to work efficiently and accurately in the fast-paced full-time position of Staff Accountant.  A Bachelor’s (BA) Degree in accounting or related business area or an Associate’s Degree (AS) in accounting or related business area with at least one year experience is required. Candidates must have a working knowledge of GAAP and nonprofit accounting, be familiar with preparation of financial reports and statements, and general ledger reconciliation. Applicants should also be familiar with internal controls and monitoring cash flow. Excellent data entry and organizational skills are needed as well as the ability to deal with the public, and be detailed oriented.  Individual must be a self-starter, able to maintain confidentiality, and able to meet multiple deadlines. Knowledge of the Catholic Church is preferred.
