The Diocese of Beaumont is currently seeking a full-time Information Technology (IT) Administrator to assist the Director of Information Technology with assessing and maintaining all aspects of the multi-site Diocesan information systems and networks. Maximum knowledge of computer operating systems including but not limited to installation and ongoing support, computer hardware, software and disaster and recovery processes, and experience in third party interfaces, network connectivity and configuration, and multi-server environments. Skills needed are excellent verbal communication and organizational skills, ability to deal with the public and be detailed oriented. Individual must be self-motivated, service oriented, conscientious, and able to deal with multiple tasks. Experience in working in a team environment. Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree or a combination of IT certifications such as CompTIA, Microsoft or Cisco with a minimum of five to ten years’ experience and/or training in the computer hardware/software field; or equivalent combination of education and experience. St Helen Church in Orangefield has an opening for a Keyboardist to provide musical accompaniment for weekend and Sunday Masses. Applicants must have prior experience in accompaniment, must be proficient in musical sight-reading, and have understanding of basic music theory. Knowledge of Catholic Liturgies is a plus. Interested parties must be available for one hour rehearsal on a date to be determined and additional rehearsals as needed for special liturgies.
