The Diocese of Beaumont is currently seeking a full-time Information Technology (IT) Administrator to assist the Director of Information Technology with assessing and maintaining all aspects of the multi-site Diocesan information systems and networks. Maximum knowledge of computer operating systems including but not limited to installation and ongoing support, computer hardware, software and disaster and recovery processes, and experience in third party interfaces, network connectivity and configuration, and multi-server environments. Skills needed are excellent verbal communication and organizational skills, ability to deal with the public and be detailed oriented. Individual must be self-motivated, service oriented, conscientious, and able to deal with multiple tasks. Experience in working in a team environment. Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree or a combination of IT certifications such as CompTIA, Microsoft or Cisco with a minimum of five to ten years’ experience and/or training in the computer hardware/software field; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Market to HOPE has locations in Beaumont and Winnie, Texas. Responsible for overall program management and the provision of services for the Market to HOPE (M2H) Program in all locations.
Bachelor’s degree in service related field preferred.   At least one year previous related/similar work experience preferred.  Ability to safely operate/drive a 20-foot box truck. Must successfully complete agency safety training within 30 days of employment.   Forklift Driver Certification or ability to obtain Forklift Driver Certification within 30 days of employment.   Ability to safely operate electric and manual pallet jacks.  Ability to safely operate baler.  Civil Rights Certification and Food Handler’s Certification or ability to obtain these certifications within 30 days of employment.  Requires analytical, conceptual, problem –solving and decision-making skills; and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and within the confines of deadlines.  Must be able to work evenings and weekends.  Must be proficient in MS Office suite.  Must demonstrate good written and verbal communication skills.   Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus.

The Diocese of Beaumont is seeking candidates to fill the position of Multi-Parish/School Accountant II.  Applicant must have a working knowledge of GAAP and fund accounting including internal controls. Interested party must be able to work for multiple supervisors, have great attention for details, be able to maintain strict confidentiality, and be able to work well under pressure. Candidate must have a reliable means of transportation as travel and some evening and weekend work is involved in this position. At least two-five years working knowledge of budgeting, accounts payable, payroll is a must and knowledge of the Catholic Church is a plus. A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a major in Accounting is required. St Helen Church in Orangefield has an opening for a Keyboardist to provide musical accompaniment for weekend and Sunday Masses.   Applicants must have prior experience in accompaniment, must be proficient in musical sight-reading, and have understanding of basic music theory. Knowledge of Catholic Liturgies is a plus. Interested parties must be available for one hour rehearsal on a date to be determined and additional rehearsals as needed for special liturgies.
