Ash Wednesday, March 6, is the annual start of the Lenten season and it’s time to get ashes.
Parishes and missions across the diocese have many times to distribute ashes.

Our Lady of Light, 2207 S. Main in Anahuac, will have Masses at 10 a.m., noon, 2 and 4 p.m. There will be a 7 p.m. bilingual Mass

Blessed Sacrament, 780 Proctor Street in Beaumont, will be having Masses at 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. Confessions are available prior to each Mass upon request. Ashes will be given to parishioners during Mass and to the sick at home. For more information, please contact 409-833-6089.

Our Lady of Assumption, 4445 Ave. A in Beaumont, will have Masses at 8:15 a.m. and 6:30 p.m.

Our Mother of Mercy, 3390 Sarah in Beaumont, will be celebrating Ash Wednesday Masses at 6:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. A distribution of ashes will be held at noon.

St. Anne Church, 2715 Calder in Beaumont, will be celebrating Masses at 6:25 a.m., 8:15 a.m., 9:30 a.m., 12 noon and 6 p.m. Confessions are available prior to each Mass except the 9:30 a.m.

St. Anthony Cathedral Basilica, 700 Jefferson in Beaumont, Mass times are 8:10 a.m. School Children Mass, 12:10 p.m. Pontifical Mass with Bishop Curtis Guillory, SVD, and a 6 p.m. Mass.

St. Jude Thaddeus, 6825 Gladys Ave. in Beaumont, Mass times are 8:15 a.m., 12 p.m. noon, 5:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. For more information, please contact 409-866-5088.

St. Pius X, 5075 Bigner Road in Beaumont, will be celebrating with a prayer service at 7 a.m. and Mass times at noon and 6 p.m. There will also be a Parish mission service March 9 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. For more information, please contact 409-892-3316.

St. Mary, 702 E. Houston in Cleveland, will have Masses with distribution of ashes at 8:30 a.m. in English and at 7 p.m. in Spanish.

St. Martin de Porres, 104 Gossett Road in Corrigan, will have Mass at 7 p.m.

St. Mary, 9894 Gilbert Road in Fannett, will be having Masses at 7 a.m., 5 p.m., and 7 p.m. Stations of the Cross will be held every Friday during Lent at 5 p.m. at St. Mary and St. Martin de Porres, Cheek. For more information, please contact 409-794-2548.

St. Joseph, 2590 U.S. Highway 190 in Livingston, will have Masses at 8 a.m. and 6 p.m.

Infant Jesus, 243 S. L.H.S. Drive in Lumberton, Mass times are 6:30 a.m., 8:30 a.m. and 6 p.m.

Holy Trinity Church, 10739 Eagle Drive (FM 3180) in Mont Belvieu, will be having Ash Wednesday Masses at 8 a.m. at the daily chapel and 6 p.m. at the Wismer Distributing Center.

St. Francis of Assisi, 4300 Meeks Drive in Orange, will be celebrating Ash Wednesday at 8:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m.

St. Helen, 8105 FM 1442 in Orangefield, will have Masses, with blessing and distribution of ashes, at noon and 7:30 p.m.  Stations of the Cross will be held at 11 a.m. on Ash Wednesday, followed by the noon Mass.

St. Catherine of Siena, 3706 Woodrow Drive in Port Arthur, will be celebrating Ash Wednesday Masses at 8:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. with distribution of ashes. A distribution of ashes service will take place at noon.

St. Joseph, 4600 Proctor Street in Port Arthur, will be celebrating Masses in both English and Spanish. English Mass times are 7 a.m., 8:30 a.m., and 6 p.m. Spanish Mass will start at 7:30 p.m. St. Joseph will also hold Stations of the Cross every Friday during  Lent 6 p.m. in English and 7 p.m. in Spanish. St. Therese, the Little Flower of Jesus, 6412 Garnet Ave. in Port Arthur, will have Masses, with distribution of ashes, at 8 a.m. and 6 p.m.

St. Mark, 905 N. 9th Street in Silsbee, will have Masses at 7 a.m., 5 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.

Our Lady of Victory, 225 W. Barkley in Sour Lake, will have a Liturgy of the Word with ashes, followed by Confessions, at 8:30 a.m. and 12:15 p.m. There also will be a 6 p.m. Mass with distribution of ashes.

St. Louis, 315 W. Buccaneer Drive in Winnie, will be celebrating Ash Wednesday with two Masses at 8:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. Both Masses will be bilingual.

Our Lady of the Pines, 1601 Pine in Woodville, will be celebrating Masses with ashes 4:30 p.m. and 7 p.m.
