Today Bishop Toups went to the Neches River to ask God’s Blessings during this hurricane season, especially with Ida heading to Louisiana. He asked for God and the Holy Spirit to dissipate the storms, for the preservation of life & property and for the safety and protection of all in harm’s way. We ask for God’s blessing on our lives, give us His peace, give us His strength, give us His protection in the midst of this storm season. After blessing the water, Bishop Toups turned to the City of Beaumont as the seat of the diocese and representing all of the 9 counties of our diocese and prayed for an end to the pandemic, for protection of our homes, families, schools, churches, places of work, and to bring healing and hope.
Jesus, we trust in You!
