Students at Lamar University, Beaumont, celebrated Mardi Gras March 5. Father Tino Barrera celebrated Mass in the St. Thomas Aquinas Chapel. Following Mass, lunch was served in the Catholic Student Center by The Men of Jude from St. Jude Thaddeus Church, Beaumont. The gathering was an opportunity for students and staff to enjoy food and fellowship while preparing for Lent.
