Memorial Mass for Deceased Priests

The Year for Priests, announced by Pope Benedict XVI, began in June 2009. As part of the continuing celebrations in the Diocese of Beaumont, Most Reverend Curtis J. Guillory, Bishop of Beaumont, will celebrate a Memorial Mass for Deceased Priests, remembering all priests who served this area, even before it was named a diocese, and have gone to their just reward. The Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, November 3, 2009, at 6:30 p.m. at St. Jude Thaddeus Church, 6825 Gladys Avenue, Beaumont. Bishop Guillory invites all to join him in prayer to rejoice and thank God for those priests who faithfully fulfilled their ministry to the Church and now rejoice forever in the presence of God.
