Rededication of St. Francis

After 16 months of repairs due to damages sustained from not only Hurricane Ike but from a ruptured pipe months before, St. Francis of Assisi, Orange, parishioners are now back in their church.

Bishop Curtis Guillory, SVD, joined parishioners and pastor Father Thomas Phelan Oct. 10 for the rededication. Father Phelan praised all who donated their time and talent to repairing the church. Bishop Guillory reiterated the praise and complemented the warm colors and art that is now showcased.
