Leadership plays a big role in the Bishop’s Faith Appeal, and it was acknowledged Dec. 1 at a Mass and dinner at St. Anthony Cathedral Basilica, Beaumont.
Nine parishes received certificates for outstanding participation during this year’s BFA. St. Raymond, Sam Rayburn, had the most participation at 83 percent. Overage checks for going over parish BFA goals were presented to 28 parishes.
Diocesan BFA co-chair, Jim Hauck, praised everyone in attendance for their wonderful support throughout the year, and said he hopes next year’s capital campaign will be just as successful
