DRE Position Available in Liberty, Texas
The position of Director of Religious Education is available at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Liberty, Texas beginning June 2008, at the end of this catechetical year. The responsibilities of the DRE include:
- catechetical formation for children of pre-school age through adults
- sacrament formation for those in the RCIA program
- sacrament formation for children preparing for First Reconciliation/First Eucharist
- sacrament formation for teens preparing for Confirmation
- administrative duties pertaining to the above
- organizational and computer skills
- various other catechetical programs and events

Associate Director of Development
Office of Stewardship and Communication is seeking a professional to assist in securing, creating and administering resources through foundation, individual and corporate gifts. Applicant should possess a Bachelor’s degree in development or communications with two years experience in fundraising or equivalent combination of education and experience in public relations, communications or development. Director of Music Ministry
1,200 family parish is seeking a competent energetic Director who has an understanding and appreciation of Catholic Liturgy. Responsibilities include adult, contemporary, children’s choirs and cantor training; must be available to coordinate music for weekend liturgies, weddings , funerals and Feast Days especially Christmas and Easter. Choir Director/Organist
St. Catherine of Siena Parish, Port Arthur, is seeking a part-time choir director/organist. The directory would have choir practice once during the week; play the organ/piano for the 8 a.m. Sunday Mass; and direct the choir and play the organ/piano for the 11 a.m. Sunday Mass. Assistant or Associate Director
The Catholic Diocese of Beaumont, Texas is accepting applications for the position of Assistant or Associate Director in the Office of Lifelong Catholic Formation/Education. Candidate must be a practicing Catholic, with a Master degree in Religious Education, Religious or Pastoral Studies or Theology, or the substantial equivalent including a Bachelor's degree with theological background. Candidates with at least five years of experience in religious education administration on the parish or diocesan level, who are willing to work in a creative, collaborative setting, will be considered. The position is full-time and includes developing programs and servicing parishes in the following areas: Catechesis and the Catechumenate for Children and Youth, Intergenerational Catechesis, and overseeing Catechist Formation.
