Bishop Curtis Guillory, SVD, took a moment to inform the parishioners of St. Joseph, Port Arthur, that Father Steven McCrate would be staying on as their pastor. There was much rejoicing.

Bishop Guillory greeted parishioners after the Mass of Thanksgiving on May 17. The Mass was a celebration of the completed renovations to the church and the parish hall after Hurricane Rita.

Bishop Guillory chats with parishioners over coffee during the reception following Mass.

Parishioners signed the book as they made their way into the newly renovated parish hall.
